Goodbye, Amazon Kindle
Outsider's PerspectiveGoodbye, Amazon Kindle. As of tonight, you no longer can buy How to Use Hyphens for Amazon Kindle.
- Amazon through its Amazon Web Services took down Parler in a partisan-political move. Parler had to scramble for several weeks to get back online.
- Amazon will not sell ebooks to libraries. No other major publisher does this. Amazon’s approach creates an unnecessary digital divide.
- Amazon removed When Harry Became Sally from its site. Amazon did this even though the book sold well at Amazon. And, Amazon lied about the author’s approach in the book to transgenderism.
- Amazon internal documents show that the company copied popular products and rigged search results. I cannot support these infringements on others’ intellectual property.
So, How to Use Hyphens is no longer sold on Amazon Kindle.
Amazon lost my trust. Amazon no longer deserves to earn ebook-sales revenue from my readers. Once I find a replacement for Amazon as publisher of my paperbacks, I will say goodbye to Amazon paperbacks, too!
Goodbye, Apple Books
Outsider's PerspectiveGoodbye, Apple Books. As of today, you no longer can find How to Use Hyphens on Apple Books.
Apple wants its iPhones to monitor users’ facial expressions and typing metrics.
I cannot support these infringements on innocent people’s privacy.
So, How to Use Hyphens is no longer sold on Apple Books.
Apple lost my trust. Apple no longer deserves to earn ebook-sales revenue from my readers.
